Lategame yred is mostly drain life +enslavebro (ice giants, titans, and high end dragons are good bro's) airdropping in your bone dragoms and profanes when shit hits the fan.

Removing the ID minigame does make crawls gameplay more streamlined by moving early item management to a tactical level rather than the curent semi-rng strategic setup we have now. It's a real gameplay improvement.

In a 3 rune game vamp can be a powerful brand (on par with pain/disto/antimagic) but only if the damage you deal is greater than the damage you receive. So if you're not a plate dude with a big weapon or a DD vamp is average at best.

Bolt o cold, Cloud spell of choice, unraveling, darkness, S2S, blink and apportation are bread and butter.

Swing weapon and wear armor are also bread and butter.

I'd get bolt and blink running and then go for bulk in the short term.

Edit: Yeah don't go into snake on low hp dudes.

Regen and shroud should drastically raise your survivability, spectral is finicky to use with Cflame but it's not bad while song is pretty much free.

Past that I'd focus more on summons/necro than conj blasting on this char but you can go for it if you want.

Use throwing or a launcher, blick threats at the edge of LoS. Ppj, abjure, and apportation are nice but not neccecary. Conj also works with subgen.

Haste/blinking/passage still cover all your upstairs needs.

Pretty easy floor skip, D10-11 and some orc layouts (if you find Mr) before lair is pretty safe,

Rule of thumb. Does your god give allies and mp in some form or fashion.

If yes to both ignore evo past 6
If yes to one get evo to 6 and delay evo 15.
If no to both train all the evo.

This is just my personal guideline, it's probably suboptimal and has obvious exceptions.

On not DE^Veh you just take bolt/blast/smite/single target and dump into utility spells/evo/invo/bulk/weapon. Here that would look something like bof/lrd/ood or iron shot as the offensive spell suite.

On DE^Veh you may as well learn chain lightning and tornado for funsies.
