Re: How do you play as Ogres/Trolls?

There was a big long thread about this some time ago where I got flamed by pretty much everyone in the community. I stand by raising Str/Int long before dex for an ogre. The damage increase from raising str (considering a GSC, or rocks & javelins) is high enough to not be ignored, and the EV inc...

Really, their difficulty was determined by how many large rocks you could find before you started regularly encountering cyclopes and other such monsters. Bonus if you start with some (hunter, AM). At least, that was before the ranged accuracy changes that happened. I haven't played a large rock thr...

I'd be interested to see what the dodge training does to the character. It's my experience that even though I often train dodge to like 20 in heavy armors, it doesn't seem like there's enough EV change to make the investment worth it. Although my characters do not usually have 19 dex which makes a b...

I predict all decisions for play (cautious or risky, what skills, items etc, how many consumables you use) will be compiled into the init file. Then, all actions can be completed with a single key press (O) that decides what the player wants to do at a given time. This way the game is completely str...
