Since it's one of your first characters, Oka is a good choice (ammo & other gifts, decent buffs). It's easy to gain piety (kill and sacrifice corpses) and to use and understand the abilities.
When you'll be bored of him with your 100th character, try one of the other that were suggested here.

I'd stay with the rF+ robe, it's a very important resistance and you have a good EV.
IMHO it's soon to use your enchant armour scrolls on those chain mail, you'll certainly find better one later

In help it's said to do Ctrl-C, but for me it only removes everything on floor and lets the map... I would like to entirely clear a level to be able to auto-explore again...

I usually quaff them when I already have some bad mutations, like after making my way in Slime. Sometimes it even cures them...
And as I know I will have to drink a Cure mutation one...
