I think they are identical. When dividing numbers, if the result is an integer, it's always rounded down. So 149 / 10 = 14. Unifying them into a single function is indeed a good idea.

Paralysis is harder to resist now. Yes, really. You sure? I don't remember such change. Most recently, an ancient lich took my 220hp character by casting paralyze, then summon demon hordes, then paralyze a few dozen times. Were you slowed? We try to prevent chain paralysis but it's not perfect.

You might want to use a logarithmic scale, like the one used for spell power. It might seem counter-intuitive, but it's a great way to always show relevant information, which is what the "not showing number" policy is about. Going to have to disagree here, as the spell power scale confuse...

The battle cry is a nice idea. For resistances, I think Beogh should just bless followers with random resistances. 1 for warriors, 2 for knights and 3 for warlords. The orc should get the blessing, not his gear. Also, adding a L4 Hexes spell "Haste other" would be awesome for Beoghites.

If you want to go heavy armour, you should put on the plate mail as soon as you find it. I wish that weren't the case. Armour doesn't affect your attack speed except for unarmed now, yeah. So if I want to train armor there's no point in waiting to equip that plate mail I found on 1st dungeon level? If you want to go heavy armour, you should put on the plate mail as soon as you find it. I wish that weren't the case....
