CIP: DEWz that I never thought would stay alive

Incredibly early in the game I chugged a potion and got two negative mutations. Feeling pissed, I drank another just for kicks and got two more. Since then I've had a ridiculously good game, despite having only about 50 health at XL 14 and only 4 str. I'd love any general advice people could give me...

It may also be a good idea to have a set number of cyclops/hill giants in the vault, I've tried it out three times, one of those times I was greeted by 7 cyclops who all flung a boulder all at once. I don't think I've had many characters who could deal with that on floor 14. Oh good point, I should...

My first vault, so please let me know what you think.

I made this while at work, so I haven't gotten to test it yet, and I made it pretty quickly so I may add some randomization, but it is pretty simple.

Eh, vampires have 1. No use for permafood. 2. Benefits in both directions. Lava orcs being temporarily boosted by fuel generates an interesting resource management decision. If anything I'd say its too similar to berserkers since it replicates the hunger/power tradeoff raging has.

What about making temperature also tied with fuel i.e. food? Being full means you heat up much faster, but hunger faster as well. Being hungry means you are more sluggish and less prone to heating up. This would make food more interesting for them, and provide an interesting choice of burning throug...

Why not make it a bit more true to the source and have self-petrification mean you are more uninteresting to monsters? Have it so that unintelligent monsters lose interest, while intelligent monsters have a much lower chance but will end up wandering a bit or going to sleep, as if they were sitting ...

I always viewed Demigods as something more abstract. Almost like Xerath from League of Legends, just a barely-contained creature made of power.
