Just wanted to say thanks to whoever made the Oki "Armory" vault. Its very cool and thematic with some half decent items (even though the randart FDA was typical Oki crap lol) as a bonus. The arrow room, the sling room all very awesome. Just wish there was a rack of Javelins up in this bit...

Usually I find that I have enough money from scumming Pan by the time another Zig pops up... unless you get really unlucky and just keep getting stuck with the 5k+ cost.

Once you have imps online Mu is a bit of a joke... Hungerless casting makes a huge difference when you can constantly surround yourself with Summons. This also removes any problems you might have with confusion. Rpois also makes a difference with casting Meph willy nilly style.

Oka through the end of D. TSO for extended and the weapon, then Makhleb after. He gives more hp per kill on average than TSO and by that stage of the game his wrath was a joke... Also I think Makhleb protected me from TSO wrath a lot.

What Tiber said, too. Also... eat more chunks... even the brown ones. If you eat at Hungry nausea won't be a problem. rPois is also a great poor man's gourmand as a lot of the poisonous chunks are white when you have rpois. If you eat chunks you'll have so much food you won't know what to do with it...

Okawaru and trog are pretty unlikely to actually give you a demon whip. The only onehanded maces game I did with either of them was with trog and I got not a single demon whip gift all game (I did find a demon whip of venom in lair:8). I recently won a Zig with a MiFi. I did have spells, but no attack spells. Just Swiftness, Haste, Phase Shift,Regen and Silence really. Swiftness and PS didn't really do a whole lot for me.. I didn't rely a whole lot on Regen either. Haste was nice, but I could have probably done it without and main...

Wow... I usually keep ~8 breads on me and thats more than enough. I rarely lose any at all to harpies and when I do its only 1 or 2. If you know you will be somewhere with harpies just don't take so much food. Outside of Shoals and Vaults you really don't have to worry about them.

I believe that regex work in those fields; have you tried adding a ^ to the beginning to denote start of line? That should resolve the issues with Prince Ribbit and stuff.

I think this is something that has both changed several times and has been changed recently. Last time I went Pan -> Zig -> Abyss I ended up back in the dungeon but since then I've seen a change log that says this isn't how it happens any more, you should end up back in the Zig level you were banis...

So I know that it was removed where you go back to Pan after escaping from the Abyss, but apparently if you go Pan -> Zig -> Abyss you go back out to D. Was this intentional? Kinda sucks since I lost some items I left outside the Zig.

This is a bit of an exaggeration isn't it? At least as it relates to the topic. The vault in question is fairly obvious and requires only 1 or 2 shots be fired at the trees.

You have to consider gear drops as well as experience rewards. I agree nausea (and eating in general) is tedious but I just wrote a script to do it for me as I explore (now my "o" key butchers, eats, prayers, rests, and explores). All I can say is... learn some LUA and 99.99% of the tedio...

% reduction against otherwise unresistable sources. Hellfire, maybe torment, etc. Wouldn't be too useful early game but would be pretty strong for extended. But it would serve the purpose of "warding" the wearer from harm and give another useful end game option.
