Felid move speed is very strong but isn't this balanced in the very early game by the fact that you can turn a corner and get one-shotted by an average early D monster who happens to be standing in the right place? Once this happens to me, i'll let you know. I think this scenario should be possible...

Are you talking just about felids or other races too? It might sound silly but i think felids are more streakable than humans because they can just run away from a stereotypical 10 speed tough melee dude.

I believe the game gives you just enough time to teleport away before you drown but your movement delay as a statue naga of Chei is something like 42 (4.2 regular turns), so... yeah, gotta remember that next time.

Well, FeCK was not surprisingly easy for me. The start was almost alright as i'm used to playing early game as an unarmed cat with no extra tools. Juggernauts are the monsters i empty my sacks of spiders and boxes of beasts on. If you're not a felid, you can even a spend a few curare needles to slow them down. Darn, ninja'd while i was testing that in wizmode.

With Xom, everything is legal. But, more importantly, the wiki is just wrong here. While many non-living monsters are magic-immune, you can confuse, for example, an ordinary gargoyle pretty easily. You'd better edit that out of the wiki. Oh wait...

Mutation roulette used to be a dumb idea few versions ago but now you can't get mutated by random dudes with a wand of polymorph and the game often gives you more than enough curemuts too.
