Homerow scrolldown in drop menu

Might just be in trunk, but now there is no easy scrolldown in the drop menu. I think spacebar is the old button for it, but now it toggles an item. I don't want to have to move my hands from the homerow position to see the second half of my items!

How about setting the ammo mulch rates to zero? (a one-liner change in the code) Keep the interesting strategic/tactical challenge of getting your ammo back, but lose the risk of being left without any ammo due to bad luck. Maybe even limit that to unpoisoned ammo, or make the ammo unpoisoned if it ...

Running out of projectile ammo irritates me. Infinite ammo?

Melee weapons don't run out of ammo. Spells basically have a per-combat limit that recharges once you get away. Ranged weapon users can run out of ammo due to bad luck and be totally screwed. Have we considered straight up making ammo no longer a thing? Unlimited ammo for all. It's not realistic, bu...

When I look at an armor, I can immediately see the helpful line: "If you switch to wearing this armour, your AC would decrease by 2 (20 -> 18)" Also this other stuff: "Base armour rating: 10 Encumbrance rating: 18" When I look at a weapon, I see this: "Base accuracy: -4 Base...

I think it makes sense to remove the MP cost.

Piety costs already provide an incentive not to overuse an ability, and MP costs really only serve as a hard limit to the number of uses in the short term.

Without a turn limit, the safe way to clear every level is to sit stationary in the best terrain while waiting for every monster on the level to wander there, one by one.

Just tried that with a Mummy. Does not work.

Now that monsters no longer continue to spawn on cleared floors, do we need the food clock to push the player deeper? Can the player do anything else? Apart from a few species specific features like vampires and ghouls, does hunger actually add to the game? I think it's time to consider removing the...

Why are demigods their own race?

From the wiki: "Demigods are mortals (Humans, Hill Orcs, or High Elves, for example) with some divine or angelic ancestry, however distant." This implies that being a demigod would be an optional flag for almost any race rather than being its own race. What is up with that? (I have similar...

Currently the line of sight limit is an octagon. This is inconsistent with the fact that diagonal motion is equivalent to orthogonal motion. The view distance is noticeably shorter when moving diagonally. Is there a design aspect that I am missing?

Now I'm trying out a KoAs, but there has got to be something else. Any suggestions?
