Pressing the movement keys more slowly should make you move more sneakily.
Pressing the movement keys more forcefully (bashing them.) should make your attack do more damage.

I almost always have multiple games going. I get a bit bored after playing one combo for hours on end.

I like doing this with a SpCk, it's not the most efficient combo, but Xom finds it hilarious.

He's looks more like Okawaru to me. I don't think of Zin as using a crossbow.

Mostly I play crawl when I have time. I also play it when I have trouble getting to sleep. (Though I don't expect to get beyond orc when I'm tired.)

I don't know if it can be removed. It IS very useful though, I would have been killed on several occasions had it not prompted me to stop.

I just found in a shop the +12 orcish plate mail of Loving Death (rF+ MR), it costs 8457 gold which will take some time to acquire. It would be a nice item for my HoPr though. Edit, the shop was on D:3.

Is a whip of reaching or a hand axe better for a MdGl, I found the whip on D:1 so no training in axes other then what I started with.

You will always find a alter to the god most useful to your character right after you go into Wizmode to test a feature.
