Re: Webtiles

edlothiol, I was wondering if you can attemp to say at this moment how much faster webtiles will probably be down the road. I realize we can't probably expect to match the speed of native code but I'd still love to hear your opinion. And thanks for doing this, it's already very playable. Yeah.. it`...

Re: Porting Crawl to the Tablets

A crawl version for Tablets/smartphones (with android or iOS) should have a friendly interface... Like... only the necessary things to play... arrow keys (with diagonals), auto explore key, itens, etc.. only, because a full QWERTY digital pad just takes 40% of the screen..

Re: Webtiles

Where are you guys discussing about what should be implemented in webtiles? I think it's cool the way it is... just make less laggy the movement with arrow keys and something like a "force screen" to adjust the resolution for who is watching your game (keep moving the side-scrooling bars i...

I cleared all floors of snake pits with bolt of magma and orb of destruction. Shoals is a little bit dangerous, but with &quo...

Str or Dex

Hi.
When to raise Str or dex?
I assume that dextery is to all evasion based characters (INCLUDING CHARACTERS USING AXES AND/OR ANY WEAPON "BETTER FOR THE STRONG"), right?
Strenght is to all AC/non-evasive characters like Trolls/Ogrescharacter who uses "heavy" armor, right?

Re: .ttyrecs

off the top of anyone's head, can anyone recommend any people in general to watch or even your own victories. I am just curious in watching other players tactics and playing styles.
