I consider harm an awful design because the only way it makes sense is if the default damage values in crawl are too low. Think of an amulet that does the opposite: all incoming and outgoing damage is reduced by 20%. Is this something that would belong in the game? I really hope your answer is no. ...

+10 CPA is just too big for me to just ignore. You have one MR ring to help, reasonably likely to get some other source, and if desperate you could switch to Ashenzari for clarity - unsure how lethal Okawaru wrath is at this point though. You do have many teleports available.

I'd have gotten short blades skill instead but at this point it's probably not needed (that rapier will kill things up to and including orb guardian, and Ru greatly rewards sbl skill with the stab openings). What are you getting the Fire/Conj for? at this point you desperately need Fighting/Dodging ...

I used it for Vaults:5 on a 58AC Naga. It felt like a positive effect but was very dangerous and I think regeneration would have been better for me. Especially elemental attacks that I didn't resist - lightning/draining - hit very hard and caused even more resting to be needed.

Eat all your non-ration perma food. I generally drop fear at this point as well, I like item slots, and fear is less useful in depths and onward. Disagree with both of these. i assume you checked for "ring of fire" as well? You can swap to that for orbs of fire, and you even have the rC to help mitigate it if an ice dragon or something is around at the same time.

I'd suggest Tomb first. You won't care as much about rF/rC there.

Leaning towards QDA until you start getting scrolls for GDA. You do have Trog's hand, but it's convenient to have MR+++ without it.

there's definitely a compromise position there - use ozo armour and melee things in a robe, with ice beast / fprism support. When you eventually find bolt of cold or refrigeration you can unleash death that way too.

What would your second skill be? Spellcasting, dodging, and fighting all seem reasonable and you might not get a third, judging by those games in the other thread.
