I love playing DS because I find the random mutations hugely entertaining. I love the ideas in this thread--some would need adjustment in order to avoid being too extreme, but there's a lot of great suggestions! My favorite vault ever is the humble sewer vault. It has so many versions, and all of them are fun. Hard enough to be exciting, but not so hard they feel unfair. No matter how often I find it, I am always thrilled to see a glowing sewer grate.
