Yes, but sticking to D&D (which is a bad example here because it's not a skill-based system) you don't have to start with a shield and relative skill if you don't intend to use it. That's counterintuitive.

Nemelex is still silly strong once you start being able to use his abilities. I like more destruction/less summoning a lot honestly, it's much more fun. Yes, Nemelex is still strong as a support. Nemelex summoning deck nerf

I'm opening a new thread to talk about the reduced gifts of Decks of Summoning by Nemelex.
My opinion is the Nemelex play has been nerfed and even by making correct use of decks of destruction, you are left with less options. Maybe Nemelex was overpowered but I think artificers in general weren't.
