So I'm testing out the jump ability with a KoAr. It looks like stab jumping works on sleeping monsters. Does it work on wandering monsters?

One of my favourite weapons is the rod of destruction with bolt of inaccuracy. At 27 evocations, this spell can take down tentacled monstrosities in 2 or 3 casts and hits multiple monsters.

You are right, cross-server authentication might be very hard to do safely. Maybe this is not a good idea. In the meantime, it looks like Kornel has found something that might work on its own.

Napkin, is there a way to link the chaosforge crawlwiki with the same database used for the mantis tracker and the forums? Kornel (the guy who hosts crawl wiki) is also looking into how to make account creation more spam proof and this might be a good solution. A unified name for all three locations...

I talked to Kornel (who hosts the wiki) and he said the host shut down the site because of performance issues. Kornel said he might only be able to upgrade and host the wiki on his dedicated server in January.

I'd like a stabber/ninja combo, especially for Zot:5 and the extended game runes. Ithink this would be useful as the tactics used for these characters are not as obvious as simple bashers and blasters. I only understood how SpEn's could ninja the Orb after watching a ttyrec of 78291 do it.

I went ahead and put up a rough outline of how we might organize the wiki to separate information from strategy. Anybody is invited to help with the organization.

The first steep should not be to edit the wiki. It should be to MAP the existing wiki layout and determine which pages are necessary and core and which pages are not.
