Re: I think I found something worth checking out today.

The Noob Comic is the funniest one of all I've ever seen. Puns are based on various MMORPGs, varying from early MUDs and up to World of Warcraft, features cliche quotes like "Can I have your stuff?", item descriptions, often throwing light behind the scene on a developer corner. Enjoy! Th...

Battle axe sounds like a good choice to me, too.

How about implementing stealth and stabbing for monsters making them invisible until player notices them...

You start memorizing the spell.
A rogue appears and stabs you.
Ouch that really hurt.
You die...
wtf???

Tolkien is *exactly* mythology. Is, it? I'm confused... (In my opinion) real mythology is something people actually *believed* in - it was once considered reality (by whole populations). Tolkien invented a complex and awesome mythology that also contains many symbolic meanings. But that's rather fa...

Those are from mythology, in some cases via Tolkien, before D&D. They are, but their features are the Tolkien/D&D shaped (at least the elven, warg and troll ones were different before). Those are from Tolkien before D&D. Sure, and I like Tolkien and I don't mind at all putting his stuff...

It also depends on your aptitude. Sneaky races should pump stealth the more. Crappy aptitudes are probably better to invest somewhere else early.

Stealth is really one of the best skills. Also no monster resists that.
