Learn how to use git, that's the easiest way to get a specific version. I installed it and it downloaded something that's probably a source code for the latest version, but it's WAY too advanced to a non-programmer like me beyond this point. Thanks anyway. I'm a noob then - you are both right - always thought that either !curing or !heal cures rotting. Looks like it's true only for curing permanent HP damage, and not rotting itself.

As for the bow, yes, monstrous indeed.

I always tried to play Hunters from the start as ranged characters and was extremely frustrated with all the ammo micromanagement in the early game. Switching to ranged post-lair works just great.

Thanks for sharing! I thought glow always forces bad mutations, turns out it's not.

Roulette is nice with like 50 potions from Distillation, the most important thing is knowing when to stop. ;)

Yes, disintegration or blink would have helped too (this char is already dead anyway), what I meant is: this is the first time I see access to a dungeon branch cut off in such a way, so maybe there's a way to lift the grate by stepping on something, for example... Looks like there isn't.

The best weapon you listed is the demon whip. Demon whips are the best mace-type weapon for combat damage, period.
