Starspawn (edit: I mean starcursed masses) are very dangerous. If you hit them, they quickly aggregate back into one starspawn. So you should be fine if you can either attack quickly (use brothers in arms when necessary) or block LoS and flee.

OOD spawns in Lair aren't very dangerous (and there comes a point where OOD spawns in D aren't very dangerous either, so you could e.g. go back to D:1 and scum it as a high-level character). Assuming you worship a god without piety decay.

Dragon slaying kills draconians and dragons very easily, but are they ever a big problem once you reach Zot? I would rather have a brand that isn't completely useless against egolems, orbs of fire, orb guardians and ancient liches.
