52 EV is more than enough, it's excellent. If you don't melee at all slaying is worthless; the acc/dam boots only affect physical melee and ranged combat, with weapons or unarmed. As long as you're not facing fire attacks there's no reason to have rF+++ over rF++, and Excellent over Great does matter. There's no reason to drop the ring though. Just swap when needed. Don't you have any better rings? High protection or EV values, slaying, etc... wizardry is preferable over rF+...
