52 EV is more than enough, it's excellent. If you don't melee at all slaying is worthless; the acc/dam boots only affect physical melee and ranged combat, with weapons or unarmed. Orbs of Fire have rC+, a lot of AC and a lot of HP. Three hits to kill one are absolutely fine and looking at your spel...

As long as you're not facing fire attacks there's no reason to have rF+++ over rF++, and Excellent over Great does matter. There's no reason to drop the ring though. Just swap when needed. Don't you have any better rings? High protection or EV values, slaying, etc... wizardry is preferable over rF+...

When you are casting Ozocubu's Refrigeration to kill some deep trolls after barely escaping from Mennas, watch your HP. There is nothing more shameful for an Ice Wizard than freezing himself to death with his own spell. Were you standing in Freezing Vapor? That can still hurt even with rF+++ Ozocub...

When you are casting Ozocubu's Refrigeration to kill some deep trolls after barely escaping from Mennas, watch your HP. There is nothing more shameful for an Ice Wizard than freezing himself to death with his own spell.
