Ok so I am pretty sure that it is not reading the init file that is in the package, I have no idea what to do from here though. I have searched my computer for init.txt and I cant find it. This is starting to boggle my mind.

What would be a good way to see if a different init file is being used? I have searched my computer (im on a new os mac) using the little search glass on the top, i can only find init files for dwarf fortress, i could try deleting those?
