Re: YAVP - 1st Win (Troll Berserker)

Congrats on your win. For future reference, a shield (or large shield) is pretty good on a TrBe. I considered using one, but one of the aspects that I find more difficult to grasp in Crawl is Skill Management. My skill point allocation tends to be all over the place - that's why I decided to keep i...

Hi guys. Just wanted to share my first win in 10+ years since I've been playing this game. I feel that I couldn't have made it without the invaluable help from "A Guide to Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup" by Ultraviolent4 (if by any chance you're reading this, know that you ROCK!). EDIT: Just to ...

Thanks everybody.
Sticky flame is great. But will these spells be enough to get me through the late game (3-runes)?
I've just discovered that EE have a lot more trouble early on than FE - sandblast and stone arrow are no match for sticky flame, inner flame + fireball, IMO.

Hi there, I'm currently playing a Gargoyle EE and would appreciate some tips on what higher level spells I should be aiming for (never played Earth Elementalist before).
