Re: Branch: Adding auto_butcher as a parallel to auto_sacrif

Thanks for taking a look! A limit is a good idea, given that butchery does take some time and consumes a lot of weight and inventory slots. (For what it's worth, I play with auto_drop_chunks = true, so the later problem is no issue.) The "right" thing to do would be to only butcher corpses...

Re: autoexplore visit sacrificable items

Related to this thread is https://crawl.develz.org/tavern/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5843, which adds a similar set of features to automate butchery. Trolls and Ghouls shouldn't bypass anything at all edible, either :)

Related to this thread is https://crawl.develz.org/tavern/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5843, which adds an auto_butcher feature directly into the game code.

Branch: Adding auto_butcher as a parallel to auto_sacrifice

I've created a branch adding functionality for explore_stop += greedy_butcherable, butcher_before_explore = (true | false | prompt), and auto_butcher = (true | false) as exact parallels to the recently added auto_sacrifice options. - greedy_butcherable causes autoexplore to visit (and stop at) corps...

Re: Is the Gitorious repository down?

A quick follow up: Turns out that the http:// repository wasn't hanging, but simply taking much longer than I was used to waiting for git://. I've managed to clone it and (after a few submodule adjustments, as suggested in a recent post) it's working fine. Still, though, git:// isn't able to clone o...

Is the Gitorious repository down? (Update: It's fixed!)

I've had a clone of the gitorious.org/crawl repository working perfectly for months and have pulled updates on a daily basis, but since a few hours ago, all I've been getting is "fatal: read error: Connection reset by peer" interspersed with the occasional "fatal: The remote end hung ...

Suggestions for restfirst.lua

I've written a simple Lua script that rests if you need to recover HP, MP, or rod charges and otherwise autoexplores. This script is intended to be macroed on top of the autoexplore key, both to save you from having to reach for the 5 key all the time and to help prevent accidental autoexploration w...
