Re: The 'Questions too small to need their own thread' threa

Oh yeah I have been meaning to ask this one for a long time. When I first started it asked me my name and I put it in. Now every time I run it, it uses that name and the save game is of course the same. How do I change that so it asks me every time so I can run a different game and have multiple sav...

Re: The 'Questions too small to need their own thread' threa

Thanks a lot for the tips! So far the only place I have found that seems safe is the Ecumenical Temple. I cleared 1-3 of the Orc Mines but assume that will regen monsters. On another note, my god gifted me with this seemingly useless item: -4 Scale Mail of the Seven Moons (-2 str -2 int) What possib...

Re: The 'Questions too small to need their own thread' threa

OK I am a 100% n00b for Dungeon Crawl, but an old old master veteran on Nethack/Slash'Em, so I am very familiar with the standard Roguelike form. I have several questions in regard to some mechanics and general how to do stuff. I want to avoid being spoiled as much as possible though, so I will forg...

How to CHANGE the Save and Morgue Directories

I know there are threads on finding these folders, I want to CHANGE them to the working directory (where crawl-tiles.exe lives) Using 0.8.0 Tiles under 64-bit Windows 7 with full Administrator rights I have created folders in the install path: C:\Games\Dungeon Crawl\Saves and C:\Games\Dungeon Crawl\...
