robes and leather are essentially the same when it comes to spellcasting, don't worry about the difference.

however you should wear the robe. But never ever berserk in it.

Don't bother with slow if youre a spriggan, everyone is already slow to you.

I usually dont bother because there's a very good change of finding swiftness or haste anyway. Would you rather slow one monster, maybe (slow) or slow all monsters for sure (swiftness)

What that's called is startscumming and yah it works, but it is super boring for me. If you want to do it, OK.

For me because of some handicap I have, it's difficult to play, so I have to make every move count. Almost all of my characters make it to lair.

In my opinion Shadow Creatures is really inconsistent. Shroud is pretty useless. Just pick up Mass Abjuration so you can cast Demonic Horde with impunity (if they go hostile, send em back where they came from.) Turn off Summoning for now. I tested this around in wizmode in zot with a high-powered character. It basically gives you a single extra turn before death. I wouldn't waste the amulet slot.

You are training way way way too many skills at once! Turn at least half of those off. Others will have more indepth character building advice.
