I saw that it is something that is planned for Cogmind and I wonder if it would be doable for Crawl: you fix a seed for the RNG in the beginning of the game, so that several crawlers can play on the exact same dungeon. I think that could make for some interesting competitions..?

As a pure Xomite I play all my DsCK games with the obligation not to forsake him (even when abyssed at low levels), and with melee only and absolutely not spellcasting (I let him handle the spells). The good thing with dragon form and statue form is that they boost your hp tremendously, making that painful meleing in the vaults a lot easier
