Easy combos and first combo wins get more points early! Makes sense to get points to coast on now.

Just got my first win of the Tournament, so I'm hot stuff and I'm looking for a team. I play as Placid on akrasic and Cbro.

Transporter vaults or after teleports into dangerous situations. By setting up a PoG before hand, you can kinda 'go back to the past'.

I feel like downstairs was an option not considered. Step from time if you get too much trouble on the Boo there. Close the door so the centail has to close the gap. Rando wand would probably taken care of 1 eel or killed you via noise or haste.

Okay! Easy character so far, Gargoyles OP and that but, I'm considering changing gods. Vaults also has a rune lock. Is arachnes speed 10? Spriggan speed to split the pack as agnes can keep up with you but isnt a ranged threat.

This also is a good candidate for the 'come back later' technique.

I perfer to enslave things with abilities my army lacks. Delf summoners or higher, troll shamen, Josephine, the like. Saint roka is nice with smite and durability.

I suggest merging this idea with the lair sprint idea below. Less randomness and more predictable levels. No abyss?

An ability would be great I believe, but why not look at the restriction of once per game? A high piety cost with the ability to use it multiple times wouldn't be very different from the current status quo, right?

Man oh man. Pretty standard thing for me. I get right up on the ball, I crush a couple of branches, and then I lose my focus for a little bit and -BAM. Spider's nest is often so crowded with webs that it makes it really hard to clearly see what is where, compared to the rest of the dungeon.

Hubris kills. Do not brag about the artifact bardiche of speed and other resistances you just found to your Finances on your merfolk gladiator. Along with your brand new demon trident and other cool stuff. You'll get turned into a pig and splatted by Kirke.

My very first win a few weeks ago was also with a demonspawn of Yerd with a demon trident. It's a powerful combination!

Kudos to you for picking up four runes. Too bad about zot5 though. You'll get that orb next time.

Do scrolls of vorpalise weapon work on Javelins? How about silver javelins?

I have a trove asking for 2 potions of cure mutation. I currently do not have Rmut, and 2 two potions of cure mutation.

I made my 's' key pray, not knowing there really isn't another pause key, like 5. For some reason, '5' is mapped to long rest and I can't use it with monsters in view, which is frustrating for a slow naga.

What a wild ride. Took Zot by storm, and I'll say, a tad too carelessly. I had lost nearly all of my undead minions by the end of Zot 4, meaning I had zero support for Zot 5. I ran back up to get some scrolls of magic mapping, and found two bone dragon skeletons along the way! Awesome! Orbs of fire ...

I would quaff the invis potion, then summon brothers and let them go to town. The potion should keep you safe. Don't berserk yourself, however.

Hello, I have a question.

When I auto travel, the game switches from my bow of evasion in slot 'a' to a normal axe in slot 'b'. Why is it doing this, and is there a way to turn it off?

Does the idea of a 'stash guard' work?

I have an elephant that I don't really want to take with me, but am considering leaving it b my stash. Would it, by nature of being friendly to me, protect the rest of my stash?

I had a similar thing happen. My mouse-pad on my laptop can click, left click, and scroll. I found a whip of electrocution early and was ready to rock a wand0sling Iyb, but low and behold... 7 turns taking my armor off while Iyb kills me.
