Throwing; if you're going to use it at all, should be at least 3-5. Up to 10 if its your main ranged support skill.

UC, if you're focusing on it, just leave it on. It's fine to take up to 27. Minimum delay aside, your skill value is also directly added to your damage.

Huh... I rarely see good bows drop off centaurs, but I seem to nearly always find Javelin stacks by D7, even with casters who can't possibly take the weight to carry them. -_-' Guess its down to the luck of the draw. The main draw for Javelins (for me) is that they naturally don't mulch often at all...

1. As many as you feel you need to increase spell success. For leather, 5-6 points is sufficient to eliminate the penalties though I'm not sure of the exact figure. On the other hand, Humans aren't ~awful~ at doing Melee, since they're ok at everything (+0 aptitudes everywhere). In fact, with Mountain Dwarves gone, they're effectively now 5th best at using armour. What hurts them a little over more monsterous races is the lack of cool unarmed auxilliary attacks...

Hmm, I had first figured the new Temporal Distortion would allow a nice alternative to Abjuration by allowing you to step out of time until their duration ends, but with 3-5 turns, maybe that's not too useful in that regard without many uses.

Only even worth considering if you have no other source of rElec in a pinch. Personally, I wouldn't bother; MUT has to offer something very good to risk it.

The second ring is fine if you're not melee'ing, though its hardly awe inspiring.

The two times I dealt with it, first I was invisible and levitating and ninja'ed the rune; levitate ran out without me realising though and I then had a benny hill chase for a while, just about got away. Second time, I banished it to the abyss if I remember correctly (Lugonu).

The best way to deal with that vault is to hang around in the doorway, bizarrely (not one space out, as they can get out diagonally, but in the doorway).
