There doesn't appear to be an option for this purpose. It would probably be simple to write a patch implementing it.

If you run crawl-tiles --help, though, you can see a set of options that allow you to immediately start a character with a specific name, species, and/or background.

Stub _expose_invent_to_element out to simply 'return false', and recompile.

This has the side effect of reducing xom stimulation, so you might instead want to change all instances of 'return true' in that function to 'return false'
