@Galefury: Thanks, that's what I thought ("doable but annoying"). Didn't want to switch gods, because it would ruin the flavor.
Also I didn't know that buff duration is tied to movement speed, always thought that it depends on number of turns.

Third level effects of attack wands seem much noisier than first and second level effects. Can be a bit dangerous.
Will second and third effects of disintegration wand kill statues?

Getting multiples of the same book is a lot more useful if scrolls of amnesia aren't generating for you and you need to forget some spells. I don't understand this. You can (F)orget a spell you know by reading a book which contains this spell (same as (M)emorise). The book will be destroyed in the ...

Maybe the problem can be solved with a new spell (Hex obviously) that directly lowers MR? It can work like this: 1. smite targeted 2. monster resists this spell with MR/4 3. if monster fails to resist, then it's MR lowered to MR/2 4. multiple casts are ok 5. spell level 4 or 5 Numbers need tweaking ...

What if fire spells casted by FE were for example 10% more powerfull/succesfull, ice spells 10% less so and air/earth - normal.
That way FE will be encouraged to use fire spells, but won't be restricted from using other elements.

it can be a low level spell (perhaps fire/hex).

Blindness

I was wondering why there's no "blindness" spell/wand/potion/brand
or something similar that shortens LOS?
Fog and steam are good, but something that targets individual
monster/player can be an intresting thing
(another way to deal with spellcasters and smiting monsters).
