Not that it's entirely relevant, but I come from a long line of swamp-dwellers - the water doesn't really flow. It mostly just sits and creates muck and waist-deep bogs of mud and grime. While the idea could be interesting, thematically it doesn't really fit. That is all.

I continually hear that Animate Skeleton is one of the most powerful low-level spells in the whole game, and to an extent, I understand why this is. Stupid idea: why not just scale bee packs to the D:X floor? D:1 bees can only spawn one at a time if they spawn at all, D:5 you can get 5 in a pack, and so on. By the time you hit D:10-12 and the bee packs start getting huge you should be equipped to deal with them.

I am pretty sure that ArmourEncumbrance+2 STR does not nullifies the penalties. http://crawl.chaosforge.org/Encumbrance_rating While you are technically correct, the formula is so complicated that it's reasonable to say "match your STR to your encumbrance + some, to get rid of penalites"....
