Again, the main problem is exegesis is only usable for some high level majik. This is pretty narrow. By making piety cost dependent on spell level, we'll make this ability less narrow and make it have more uses then simply casting tornado or death door in late game.

In ADOM, when monster punches you, it has a chance that it will "punch through your armor", and ignore your protection value. Some monsters are always punching through your armor.

Ahem, anyway, the idea of merging Okawaru and Trog into a one god and giving it abilities based on those two is still floating in my head. Because Trog is overpowered, and Okawaru is good, but unfinished. And also, almost similiar concept.

Make cleave cover only three tiles in front of your character. Also, make non primary targets take only half of a damage they should receive.
