New spell idea: Golubria's Dash

Lv5 Transloc spell
Move 3~7 (depends on spellpower) tiles immediately toward the selected direction (only the 'regular' 8 directions are selectable)
Can be blocked by obstacles/lava/deep water/enemies.
After the spell, it forces 13-25 turns of -Dash status to prevent repeated use.

Riposte can never be compared to cleavning in terms of efficiency.

Cleaving: 75% damage
Riposte: 100% x 33% x dodging chance = 10~20% damage

The key of caster V:5 is Regeneration + Sublimation of Blood combo. Learn them ASAP.
If you failed to found them yet, you're f-ed. Go Crypt, Slime Pits, Depths, or elsewhere before to find them.

but i think that dex is in a good place vs the other stats right now - i don't think dex needs to be stronger I don't agree here, DEX's main boost is increasing EV but because of armour penalty, STR actually do better than DEX on enhancing EV for armours with some ER. "what it should multiply" is too trivial to specify.
To-hit value after applying fighting+wpn skill and before applying slaying/enchant value/armour, shield penalty/etc.

and DEX doesn't affect attack delay

Also, shield's atk speed/ev/acc penalty is not that harsh.

In case when the penalties max out, like shield skill lv 0 and you're wielding a large shield,
it drags +0.17 turn for atk in average. = mean of distrib defined as minimum of two i.i.d U(0, 0.5)

Needless to say, the randart is better, because you are kinda warrior and need high SH, and Str+7 is crazy boost for Statue form UC.

Also, warlock's mirror is not reliable because it's unique reflect ability also checks SH, which must be small as the item is buckler-based.

SpEn is not good for pure-damaging caster (like DrCj, DECj/FE, GrEE, ...). Its conjuration apt is terrible and can't eat meat.

SpEn is apt to play a ninja who use supportive spells.

Because it's ridiculously weak as it's additive now.

To compensate, I think it's good to raise up lategame enemies' EV.
