My suggestion was to give it strength scaling from Int as well, because Knowledge is Power, or otherwise give it a brand that does increased damage the more INT you have. The sword of power currently is lame for sure, and encourages having a swap weapon whenever you get below x HP.

The main problem with dragonform is that statue form offers adequate offenses but also offers a godly AC total and doesn't nuke your EV, or screw with your resistances. I'm personally a fan of Gozag, you can use just about any awesome loot that shows up in shops and is a generically good god. Won a 15 runer Gnoll Wizard recently with Gozag, and cleared a Zig with it.

Each shop costs a different amount. It's just that each one costs no more than the maximum cost needed to activate the ability.

When in meatsprint (ok this is cheating I know but bear with me), I'm pretty sure it's possible to get 2 skills up from 0 to 27 with a single kill, as monsters there are so stacked on HP and you already have an extreme multiplier for sprint mode.

See, if you die all your piety, wands, scrolls, and potions go away. And (and this is the important part) if you win, they all also go away. Additionally, piety recharges very quickly.

Malmutate is such a massive detriment to play against that I am incredibly against this idea. I like how it is now where 4 monsters have malmutate: it can be a threat in the late game for people who durdle too long, but it isn't an omnipresent threat.

Vaults and Royal Jelly require your character to have a fairly high power level to do safely. Abyss can almost always be done with careful play, even if your power level is low, because the average number of tele scrolls you'll have to burn is about half as much as the number that generate in Abyss.

Draconians can't bulk up in armour and have to resort to EV.

Merfolk like to be EV based and polearms are meh without allies.

Jiyva is a very unreliable god in the early game anyway, to the point of being a trap. When they eat those items, jiyva gives you free passive healing, so I wouldn't call that a trap. I just wish that Jiyva could be chosen consistently. One of my favorite builds was a Troll of Jiyva but it was super inconsistent because you had to dive lair for Jiyva and pray you didn't die.

Demigods aren't redundant though, they gain stats much slower than Chei and can do various speed related activities like haste and berserking.

Because octopodes need 2 arms to wield a 1-handed weapon or shield, or 4 arms to wield a 2-handed weapon. Tentacles don't have opposable thumbs.

Today, a few people on Aerial's chat figured out that the theoretical stat cap for int was 451. So now I want to see someone create a character and post a morgue that gets to 451 int. Apparently it is capped at 125, but no one has gotten there either (best score is 114) so let's see someone try.
