qw will stop itself and wait for player input when it gets a full inventory. You could probably make qw do the same when it sees a gong, then just take over when it finds you one.

That's one of the MANY confusing things about GDR. 40% off sounds nice but it won't actually give you 40% off if the hit is too big. Mad math intervenes and caps the reduction with math magic.

There's a widespread phenomenon where you can skip the first chunk of any youtube video. Someone named it, and others have even made browser addons that automatically skip the appropriate amount of the video's intro.

Though this is an especially bogus preamble in a medium filled with bogus preambles!

What if it was like a rich uncle, and it just tried to give you something nice, weighted based on your race, skills, and god? It doesn't know you very well and doesn't usually give you The Item You Want, but it tries. It has a lot of connections and it really tries. No weighting for what you've seen...

What if dismissal flickered the monster instead of teleporting it. "your amu vibrates and foo temporarily stops existing for # turns"

Then you know where it is (right where you left it), you know it's coming back, and you can try to get gone, or wait a bit to kill it.

Every 3 turns you get a new handful of random spells. You can cast any spell from that list, but it ciears the whole list when you do. You can cast one speii every 3 turns, but no more than that. You can "wait scum" for the perfect spell to show up, but then you have to improvise after that.
