I am using the mac version of the 0.8.0 trunk build which came pre-compiled. Can I find rltiles inside the .app contents?

Floor and wall textures

Where can I find the names for the floor and wall textures? All that I've found so far is buried inside the .des files, which isn't too much of a problem, it's hard to find the ones I want though. Is there a list or something I can look at, or should I just keep doing what I'm doing? Thanks!

Can't figure out RTILE

I'm trying to use RTILE like this: RTILE: g = wall_snake It doesn't work. All it does is generate random low-level items. I also tried using this: TILE: g = wall_snake But all that does is make the snake pit wall tile appear as the floor, and each instance of g that I use on the map appears as a flo...

Hit dice calculation

How are the hit dice used? I want to know mainly to make weaker versions of medium-strong creatures (like elves) and can't divine how it works from experimentation. Thanks!
