Is there a reason to not have ring of transmutation ?

Not a suggestion, just a question, why do we have ring of fire and ice, and not ring of every spell school ?
Why no staff of transmutation or translocation either ?

I actually don't think we would need them, but I am just curious about the original reason.

After testing, my proposed change didn't really change anything. A way to understand it is that the Regeneration spell increase by 100% your base regen that is 0 when bloodless, adding 100% of 0, it is still 0.

Be also careful that sublimation of blood is also limited, you must be at least full to use it IIRC.

I am not in favor of Crafting, I have never seen a system that was not very tedious, or very grindy. It is often based on collecting a huge amount of junk and is a time waster.

(And it is often implemented to artificially extend the game or to encourage micro transaction)

You can probably finish Lair with Petrify + LRD, you can use LRD on petrifed monsters, (except maybe for things who have a very high MR like death yak). Is there a reason to do V:5 and Zot 1:5 after Hell ? Is it to use some XP to recover some drained attribute ?

I would think believe that the Hell level would be far worse in terms of difficulty. (But at that stage a few XP are not dramatic in term of character power)

If you have Hooves3 according to the wiki you can't wear boots. Kick attack can only prevented by wearing boots(if you can) so you can wear a buckler.

I would say is heavily dependent of your character strength, I played a Ghoul who had a strength around 20-25, I was able to cast Death Channel and Simulacrum with a failure around a few percent with Pearl Dragon Armor or Fire dragon armorc (Encumbrance at 11 IIRC)

Some monsters have draining attack.

You can avoid it by wearing a ring of sustain attribute.

Your stats will revert to normal as you experience by killing monsters. However with all stats at zero you are severly handicapped and I am not sure you can make it.

Just to add fuel to the fire, if Firestorm can pierce fire resistance, and Glaciate cold resistance, is there any reason why a level 9 "super poison" spell could not pierce (maybe with halved effect) poison resistance ?

Is it because it would be too easy to bypass high AC & EV ?
