You don't have to worry about monsters looting it. They don't do that anymore in Crawl. So technically, you could stash most places... Except for temporary/shifting zones like Abyss and Pan. Floors will spawn some "wandering" reinforcements after being cleared, so you might want to conside...

That is some awesome gear you have, already! Get a weapon for above reasons and because your armor is already quite good. Weapon is the other mainstay slot with potential for constant benefits.
