When a player ghost casts a spell, are ghost's spellpower, MP and success chance based on the morgue or what? Do ghosts ever fail to cast spells?

Could my TrBe learn fire storm, die and then spam it as a ghost?

We don't have spells with a minimum range. It would be interesting if you had to travel full-LOS distance, reduced by 1 for each enemy you have to blink through.

Same problem on characters with gourmand. If I want to eat only up to very full (so I can still eat mutagenic chunks) auto-eat takes me to engorged. I've turned off auto-eat for now.

EDIT: Since mutagenic chunks give no nutrition, why can't they always be eaten?

Short blades were decent for my nightstalker demonspawn until I realized I didn't have anything for orbs of fire. You might consider transitioning into long blades as well.

I consider Hydra Form an upgrade over Ice Form if you don't need the fire/cold resistance. It's okay in the lair branches but the low AC makes it weak for vaults, though being a 20+ headed hydra is fun.

Random effects is useful when you haven't found digging or disintegration yet and want to get into a sealed rock vault. Watch out for reflections from lightning though.
