I think all these need a portable altar effect built in- when you wear Jivya's hat, you are prompted, "Wearing this will cause you to abandon your current god and begin worship of Jivya. Are you sure? Type yes."

I wish talons had a better effect than weak damage so they were better differentiated. Birds have a strong enough grip that constriction makes sense, but that doesn't need to be overused.

I don't see any reason chaos couldn't stick to neutral-negative effects on the target (keep polymorph, but eliminate berserk.) If it always hurts the target, then there is no downside for the player to wield it. It's okay to have things that are always good (most weapon brands are always good), but...

I had Trog, so MR was kind of solved. I used an anti magic quick blade in Tomb and Crypt, and vampiric through zot, but I unwielded it at some point and went to my backup weapon during the ascension so I wouldn't have to eat.

Yeah, one of the best things about QDA is that you never feel bad about wasting scrolls on it if you decide to switch to something heavier later. I've taken hybrids to Zot wearing it (I think..) and I've also worn it while I train armour and raise strength and hunt down another dragon armour.

Chain armor doesn't really seem to have much of a purpose in my experience. Chain with an ego vs standard plate is a fun decision. But you usually find an ego plate or something else that makes the chain less valuable. Maybe Scale and Chain should have a higher chance of generating with resistances...

There should probably be some form of channeling (maybe Wucad Mu, maybe something more common) that always fills your mana pool completely, but that takes longer the less skilled you are and that is uninterruptible. It should take longer to regain 8 MP twice than to gain 16 MP once.

Entropy weavers matter enough to change my tactics.
