This game is incredible. There is so much variation - but it virtually never feels gratuitous; the variations of monsters, characters, equipment and gods lead to so many interesting playstyles and decisions. Thank you!

Cheers all. Sounds like I mostly need to be very careful in snake. Swamp doesn't sound like a great plan for this character - nothing to LRD! @celem: there isn't a book shop. (There was a book shot mimic, right about when I started thinking "hmmm... I could do with some more spells". Grrrr).

You know how with easy invisible creatures in safe areas when you don't have SInv, it can be fun to just blunder around or cast weak spells until you kill them by chance?

Doesn't work with an Ancient Lich on Zot 5.

See the Zot trap I've merrily marched through to get here? Mirroring it on the other entrance is a teleport trap. Any character who isn't prepared to go toe to toe with everything in this chamber would have been in deep trouble. Don't forget about amulet of stasis! Passage of Golubradia would work ...
