Is it possible to use this combo sanely at all? Right now if any of my guardians pop up using the Arc Blade triggers the do you really want to attack your <> message. So far they don't seem to have turned against me, but having to confirm every attack (sometime multiple times) makes the weapon prett...

I support this idea. First time I saw a scarf I was playing an Octopode and wondered why I couldn't wear it :-)

There is something very satisfying and about butchering and eating an enemy that nearly took you out (Orc priests are particularly tasty)

Also I have a soft spot for wielding Yusuf's staff.

So that lovely +10 sword of Jihad (weapon) {holy, *Rage rN+ EV+3 Stlth-} that I found on d:5? Not so good when you rush off to join Ash to mitigate the *Rage and only then discover you can't curse a holy weapon...

And rather than learning a two school level spell which slows you and melds your armour I'd learn other spell - like haste, phase shift, blink, and so on. Btw, with claws 3 I wouldn't have trained and learnt blade hands - sure the latter does some more damage than claws, but the latter deal so much...

The answer appears to be yes. I ended up splitting the Potion of Experience across Stealth/Evocation/Armor and got a greater increase on Stealth vs Evocation which were both at 0 prior (and Evoc is natively a +1 aptitude)

If I were you I would not train short blades. But you need a better staff. Yiuf's staff first of all is just a quarterstaff, and second the chaos brand is dangerous to use. Stealth is nice, but on its own it's not reliable enough. Especially since sneaking up on a sleeping monster usually means venturing into unexplored territory. You need to have a way to kill things even if they wake up. I'm thinking that if the monster wakes I up I just whack it with my min delay q...
