Duvessa are you sure monsters don't roll a zero for damage? I just had a situation where I had 0 AC (batform), was hit by a goblin wielding a +0 dagger, and got the message "the goblin hits you but does no damage".

Labels are purely for cosmetic reasons. I agree with the majority that labeling a character does nothing useful. I train according to what I find in the dungeon, not because I feel I'm a fighter or a mage.

Right now the best way to deal with spiny frogs is do do some more dungeon. You entered lair very early, xp is probably easier up to d:12. Then maybe do a bit of orc if you still haven't found a way to deal with the frogs (invis, rod, some spell like confuse or a conjuration).

Do not overtrain summonings, let Sif's miscast protection save you some xp. 20% failrate for higher level summonings is good for awhile, then eventually knock down to 10% or lower.
