Xom is the least desirable god when you want to win a game. But it's better to worship him than to play without god. Better in what way? Thanks crate! A bit of a derp on the wording there, should be "...shelters you from death" or something like that.

I guess, the more I think about it, Divine Protection (and which version thereof you have) should be clarified a bit more in the abilities screen.
