Gargoyles are easy mode for extended. Can you do it? Sure. Should you do it, and risk losing your first 3-rune win? Usually not.

Huh, just realized you have Clarity, which counters berzerkitis. In that case Bloodbane is fine to use until you've enchanted up the vampiric demon blade.

For a new player I would stick with the vamp, berzerkitis can be dangerous for the unprepared. Also, h - 15 metallic orange potions u - 7 viscous pink potions w - 4 yellow potions These are all unidentified, and I'm pretty sure one of them is curing, which can save your life. I think you have literally 0 xp invested in dodging... you should correct that. Gargoyles can have ridiculous EV and ridiculous AC at the same time.

I always thought it was super spoilery to have those pips be as nonlinear as they are, and then after the pips it's subjected to an (again, invisible and unknowable) stepdown. Why not just display the final number instead of those meaningless pips?

Another vote for DEFE^Veh. I found it easier to learn than DrCj due to the huge MP pools and the massive skill aptitudes. FE skills training is also much more straightforward than with a Cj.

With the removal of carry weight limits, is the little rocks requirement really significant any more besides adding that tedious 5 aut to swap weapons? Stones are so common that it's not a real resource limitation when you can carry an infinite number of them.

Nergalle and her summons (even when hasted) don't seem to be quite fast enough to catch a backpedalling character.
