Using staff of earth as my melee weapon. Found an otherwise nice item with Slay-6. Will it have any effect on damage or accuracy?

Annotate 'Pikel' when slaves are seen?

In the case where Pikel's slaves are spotted, but he isn't, still annotate the level with 'Pikel' (on the ctrl-o screen).

His slaves are different from generic humans, and there aren't any other slaves in the game, are there?

Using stairs while hasted takes 1.6 aut. With 1 turn to quaff, that's 2.6.

It isn't entirely clear to me when you're in danger of confusing yourself with Dazzling Spray; is it just when you cast it at an adjacent wall? Is it a chance or guaranteed?

Twice in my current game finding a sleeping frog has not stopped autoexplore. Once in Lair, here on D:14.

edit: It's just happened again on D:15, with a centaur simulacrum. Autoexplored right past it. Is just my character dump sufficient for a bug report?

Is it worth using a shield as an unarmed combatant, generally? I take it you lose the attack with that hand...

Found two armour manuals in a bailey; is it worth training armour on an ogre with only soft clothes? Can they wear dragons?

(Penance took far less time than I was expecting to wear off, btw. No retribution at all.)

From the few times I've cast it so far this game, Dragon's Call under Dith does indeed seem to prevent fire or gold dragons from spawning. Happy days.
