Wheel of life

wol.jpg Made a Buddhist "Wheel of life" using crawl old tile-set (which is in Public domain) I found that playing Crawl - with its cycle of numerous death - was a constant reminder of this Wheel, and that's the reason I made it. Through this game, where I've lost many many characters I co...

Re: Is there an easy way to get the old tile graphics?

Some old tiles are in rltiles/UNUSED, but probably the easiest way to get the old tiles would be to download an older version and copy them over. You'd have to compile it afterwards, though. If you're willing to dig around, Gitorious 's history function will show you all the commits that have chang...

Re: Is there an easy way to get the old tile graphics?

I want to play the newest version of the game but with the old tiles. The new tiles look a lot more disgusting and realistic, the old ones were cuter. Failing an actual way to revert, is there a place where all the tile graphics are dumped somewhere? I found the old tiles here : http://opengameart....

Re: New Title art / Splash art

I like the idea! I think there are a few areas you can focus on to improve it: First, his head. Vis this ; bulls have protruding brows, buge foreheads, long snouts, and their eyes are way out on the sides of their head. The horns come out of a distinctive cylindrical thing on top of the head, not o...

Re: Offline version of the crawl wiki

INB4: the wiki is awful, its better to not have acess to to the information at all than using that. you will lose many good characters to the lies contained within that website. I like the wiki, because of how it presents information with tables and pictures .. it reminds me of the old rpg literatu...

Re: Offline version of the crawl wiki

Seems to be browser dependent. I can't open it in Safari (Safari can't open the page https://loom.shalott.org/learndb.html because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "loom.shalott.org".) But it works fine in Firefox. I confirm it doesn't work on older version - like ...
