Holy's not even particularly valuable in a 3 rune game. Very little in the dungeon, lair, the lair branches, slime, vaults, depths, and zot respect it.

You'd much rather have anti-magic or vampirc. Also farming TSO piety before extended is like pulling teeth.

You feed scrolls and books to the hat, as it consumes magical lore it becomes more powerful, giving larger bonuses and eventually casting spells on it's own.

If you're a berserker and Trog finds out you're dating a magic hat you get kicked out of the basement and have to find an apartment to live in.

Yah, you can get banished just fine with mr +++, the gear is fine, in particular the slay means that if you're actually hitting the lich with that damage it becomes dubious value to take it off. Very unfortunate with the enchant armor scroll rng but that's life.

The proper fix is probably to make confusing touch check MR and scale with spellpower. Then you go though, and you give a number to some of these early-mid game, low-mid hd magic immune monsters that stabbers are relying on confusing touch to deal with. Slow isn't exactly amazing, but it's silly to rate as the worst level 2.
You can't just say that without offering a lamb to the slaughter. What, in your opinion, is the level 2 spell worse then slow?

Riposte isn't worth saving, merge blades already having a big stabbing weapon is fun. Then you can go balance hexs without ruining a core crawl playstyle.

Goblins have -2 to all aptitudes, including hp exp and mp, and are also small size with appropriate weapons restrictions. The gods Okawaru,Trog, and Gozag will not accept them.

It doesn't seem to be able to tell the difference between "Escaped" and "Escaped with the orb"

I downloaded my online webtiles morgue files and uploaded them to google drive, it's a pretty thick folder but the files seem to be saved slightly differently then the way the offline version saves them, i hope it's not a problem.

Casual mode was born for this, turn off clock of doom in casual, normal hellcrawl stays super intense.
