Most of you suggestions make sense to me. However I'm curious about DrAr. What is it about Draconians that makes them fit this role? I guess DK should compensate for DS's weak early, so we're fine there. NaTm to get movespeed in forms, right? And I don't agree with MfIE because that's a good example...

So awhile ago I decided to get wins with all species, backgrounds and gods in a minimal possible number of games. There are 26 races and classes in crawl as of 0.15/trunk so obviously that's the number of games one have to win to get that "achievement" - without repeating any class or race...

Hm. I thought hexes aren't very useful in lategame (like Zot). Many dangerous enemies there (aliches, oofs, electric golems and some others) can see invisible and have rather high HD so things like confusion and hibernation will fail on them, right? On a more serious note - how should SpEn (particlarly one of Ash) transition into lategame? I assume transferring points from hexes (and possibly stealth) into offensive magic schools will do the trick?

Leveling skills got me confused as it's somewhat more complex on casters. I cleared Snakes and now I'm on V:3. Found a bunch of robes, unfortunately no robes of resistance of Archmagi yet. Also, 3 staves of air, and not a single fire staff yet. Oh well.

Thanks everyone. Indeed I missed the case with boggarts/convokers/what have you. And I see how ranged weapon may prove useful, maybe even life-saving in a situation like that.
