Do you know that both potions of heal wounds and wands of healing will restore a lot of rotted health? It's never been a problem for me because the end game these items aren't very useful, anyway (typically by then if you run into trouble you're better off teleporting or something)

When you die the game automatically makes a morgue dump file named like "morgue-leattime20-23421351-2323234.txt"

I don't fear Grinder because he's very easy to run away from (and IIRC his placement so early in the dungeon is fairly recent). Sigmund is pretty dangerous to melee characters when they run into him early.

I like it when this happens. It really smarts when I have a Remove Curse scroll but no identify scroll, so I take the ring off, and then when I die I see that ring was actually a +4, +5 ring of Slaying.

Alas! He also loves giving polearms of reaching to Merfolk crusaders. Reaching is worse than no brand most of the time. I was amazed at how crappy the gift was. I am very much looking forward to the tweaking of god gifts. Sometimes Oka acts a bit like Xom.... It's very useful for anyone with allies...

it'll be nice once it's a secondary brand that all polearms get. You get in a free hit to approaching melee monsters, and if you're fast you can kite things. It's not always useful, but it sometimes is.

You don't have to cure it, but if you manage to get the Clarity mutation (which I tend to get pretty often paired with Berserkitis), you won't Berserk.

I compared to a +9 eudemon blade, with the avg damage per turn 36 - 50.7 (+8,+11 qb). Skills are equal.

If I have a healthy amount of wands I won't hesitate to kill an OOD monster. Most wands become less useful in the mid-late game, and after certain point I usually have too many of them.
