the skill boosts fluctuate depending on cursed slots and also piety, which you lose/spend, so i don't see how you can do this elegantly.

with oka it's even easier, since you want a whole number (22). you can even set up a --more-- for that if you want. (you can also just pay attention.)

are you running this through fsim? i'm bad at this but i'm pretty sure a +5 demon whip or morningstar should be better than a +10 hammer.

i don't really have numbers, but 26 polearms at a -1 apt doesn't seem much cheaper than 20/26 axes at +1, and they cross-train.
those two weapons which you already have (at xl13!) are very good and i would probably use them (you want clarity for trog's wrath though).

if that thread doesn't work for you you can also just try iterm 2.
i use iterm, but i think you shouldn't have problems with modern built-in terminals. i think it's pre-snow leopard that their implementation was pretty messed up though, so your os version may be a factor too.

a single layout could be alright (maybe even preferable) if the layout was different than normal ones. wider corridors have been suggested a few times and might just work. it'd affect balance a bit though.
