you don't cast scorpions in corridors or the like. they aren't effective, you're cutting down on the number of summons, and they can cut you off.

i can't say anything about that, but i can say there are quite a few guys who win at a 40% rate. and 70% is not unheard of.

frenzied monsters not only berserk, but attack friend and foe alike. so use it on packs from far away. like enslavement, but not quite.

they are already dangerous, specially to low-ac characters. they are very fast, hard to hit with AOE spells, hit twice, and come in packs (which can be large). i may be biased because i do hate them with a passion, but i don't think they need a boost.

yeah, i don't get that. why long blades at -1? the differences between weapon apts are slight so they don't bar you from polearms or whatever, but given the choice you'll always go for m&f. i would stick with flat apts at 0 or as close to as possible. they just make the game more interesting. st...
